Concept:
This print is pure nostalgia for me. I tried to capture a memory from when I was a little girl: we lived in a village on a hill overlooking a river valley and forest. I tried to capture the feeling of my memories of this valley and it’s river purely from my imagination.
Process:
This print is made from a hand carved linocut block, hand burnishing paper onto the inked block to transfer the image.
