Description
This charming print features a blue jay portrait in profile. This two layer reduction linocut print was made entirely by hand, and was carved and printed in my home studio.
Reduction linocuts involve printing multiple layers from the same printing block, carving the block between layers. This process naturally creates a limited edition as the printing block gets carved away to create the subsequent layers.
Only 9 prints are in this edition with a tenth print set aside as an “artist’s print”
Printed area is about 7×5” on 8×6” archival paper
