Mini Watercolour Painting

From 1:30 until 3:30

Unit 6 - 324 24th St W. Saskatoon

$50

Come and drop by for a relaxed afternoon of painting- all supplies provided.  In this workshop, we will make tiny paintings (around 2x3 inches) for the joy of it.  Working small has its advantages- it can be less daunting than a large surface, and a lot quicker, so we know we can try again if it doesn’t turn out.  When we are less afraid of mistakes, creativity can bloom.

There will be a general introduction to the materials (watercolour paint, paper, brushes, etc) and techniques for those unfamiliar with watercolour.  Sample project inspiration will also be provided, and I will be available to provide help,  “mini” lessons, and advice.  Participants are welcome to paint as many or as few as they wish.  Extra craft supplies will be provided if people wish to turn their art into a magnet, greeting card, or ornament, to pass along to someone else as a gift.
