The Story:
This blanket design is based off of my linocut print titled, “Exhale”.  In this print, I wanted to use the motion of waxwings in flight to represent centering breath.  The birds swirl and move outwards in an expanding motion, and the pattern repeats in a circle to create a peaceful symmetry of centered wholeness.  I hope this blanket will bring a beautiful, calming presence to whatever space it is in.
